for qb is a piece written for Quatuor Bozzini and to be presented at Gaudeamus Festival 2025.

it is based on my previous and ongoing research on Arab-Andalusian music, deepening the affective impact of modality shifts in these traditions. in addition, my plan in the piece is to compose multiple transitions between monophonic to heterophonic textures. the piece may have a taste of 'Coucher de soleil'.

this project realized through the Composer's Kitchen project, including creation residencies in Montréal and Utrecht in june & sept 2025.
