a tempered and accidental piece for piano and/or guitar

the first result of a long-term research revolving around Maghrebin-Andalusian classical music, specifically from Morocco and Algeria. admittedly, the piece ended up being very distant from its original source of inspiration. here is an excerpt of edgars rubenis's very spacious interpretation recorded at Alepojina, Riga in Sept.23.

more documentation about the research will follow soon, as well a piece for 12 string instruments or 12 strings (most likely viola, cello, and double bass) and electronics commissionned & performed by GIMIK e.V. part of this research is also kindly supported by Studio Loos in the Hague.

— a dedication to my father's siblings — 12 string instruments or 12 strings (for 12 siblings)
